From Vision to Action...
In 2019, United4Change Center (U4C) set clear intentions about the kind of organization it wanted to be. That year marked more than programs and activities—it was a declaration of who we were and what we believed was possible. Why is it important to remember and revisit our own history? Because it validates what we are doing now and reminds us of the vision that started it all.
From Then to Now: How Our Mission Evolved
In 2019, U4C was promoting social justice and peace by empowering women to become agents of change in their communities. Today, our mission has deepened: U4C stands with women worldwide who endure extreme poverty, exploitation, and violence—inspiring hope and delivering innovative pathways to safety, opportunity, and inner strength so they can build resilient lives and drive lasting change for their families and communities.
As we examine our most recent Impact Report covering 2021 to 2025, we can say something that fills us with both pride and responsibility: the goals we set were not just words on paper. They became measurable results—turning a vision into reality.
Looking Back at 2019: Building the Foundation
In 2019, U4C built a foundation that would prove resilient even through a global pandemic. That year showed an organization deeply committed to women’s empowerment through training, entrepreneurship, and leadership development. That year, more than 400 indigenous women participated in empowerment programs. Ten microenterprises were launched across different communities. The work extended from Bolivia to Tanzania and Kenya, always centered on the belief that when women gain tools and confidence, entire communities benefit. Years later, some of these graduates still together, collaborating, others have started their business after a series of life changes, and we continuously learn about a long therm impact of our efforts.
Those numbers were meaningful, but what mattered even more was the model behind them. U4C was investing in capacity, in dignity, and in local leadership. It was strengthening fragile communities not through short term interventions, but through sustained relationships and practical skills that could generate income and resilience.
The question at the time was not only what had been achieved. It was whether this model—and our vision—could grow, adapt, and remain faithful to its mission in a changing world.
2021 to 2025: Growth with Integrity
The most recent Impact Report shows that U4C did not lose focus. It expanded.
Between 2021 and 2025, U4C reached 70 communities. A total of 8,898 women were served through different programs and initiatives. The broader impact extended to 14,830 people. The organization’s work reached 12 countries.
These numbers reflect years marked by global uncertainty, including the consequences of the pandemic, economic instability, and humanitarian crises. In that context, sustaining impact was already a challenge. Expanding it required discipline, partnerships, and trust.
The growth was not accidental. It followed the same principles outlined years earlier. Programs continued to focus on entrepreneurship, leadership, education, health, and community driven solutions. Women remained at the center. Local voices remained central in the design and implementation of initiatives. The organization continued to work alongside communities rather than imposing solutions from outside.
Why This Matters for Donors and Partners
When an organization sets goals and later demonstrates that it has achieved them, confidence grows. Donors want to know that their contributions translate into real outcomes. Future partners want to see evidence of consistency.
The comparison between 2019 and the 2021 to 2025 period tells a clear story. U4C defined its mission with clarity. It invested in women as entrepreneurs and leaders. It built partnerships across regions. And over time, it multiplied its reach while staying aligned with its core values.
More than 400 women empowered in 2019 became 8,898 women served in the following years. Ten microenterprises launched in one year became part of a broader ecosystem of community transformation across 70 communities and 12 countries. The scale increased, but the purpose remained the same.
A Commitment That Continues
Success is not only about celebrating numbers. It is about honoring the trust placed in us by communities, volunteers, and donors. It is about demonstrating that when we commit to a vision, we follow through with discipline and accountability.
The journey from 2019 to 2025 shows that U4C is not driven by short term enthusiasm. It is guided by long term commitment. What we propose, we work toward. What we promise, we strive to deliver.
To those who have supported U4C over the years, thank you for believing that empowerment creates change. And to those considering joining this mission, the evidence speaks for itself. When we set goals together, we achieve them together.
